Potomac Management Resources (PMR) is an association management and event planning firm based in Alexandria, VA. We currently serve 14 nonprofit organizations ranging from less than 100 members to over 10,000. PMR is committed to providing the tools, skills, and expertise that volunteer leaders need to bring their strategic vision to life.
In August, PMIWDC reached a significant milestone in the chapter’s history when its total membership crossed the 10,000 mark. Chapter leaders, members, and guests celebrated at the October monthly dinner with a special Champagne toast.
PMIWDC has been a PMR client since 2006. We are proud to have supported PMIWDC as they doubled their membership and launched dozens of new member service programs over the past 6 years.
One of the primary benefits our association clients offer is professional development. We like to practice what we preach and make sure our staff stays current on the latest trends and hones the skills needed to provide the best service to our clients and their members. Meet our newest staff member, Rosanne Burns. Rosanne has joined PMR as an Account Coordinator. Previously, she was a Marketing Associate at RONIN Registration, a sports event registration company in Woodbridge, VA. Rosanne has lived in the DC Metro Area her whole life and graduated from Boston College with a degree in Communications and Music. While at BC she was a member of the Eagles' Women's Rowing Team.
